Are you able to use an international calling card through a cell phone to avoid the high per minute charges? Or does it have to be a land line?

Yes you can use a prepaid calling card on your mobile phone but take note that you will also use up your cell phone minutes. I use Comfi.com prepaid calling card on my mobile but only on weekends when I get unlimited minutes on my cellular phone.

ask ur service providor if they provide or support the calling card facility then it will surely work….

I always thought it had to be a land line, but why dont you just try it out to see if it works.
