A calling card call usually shows up as an 800 (or other toll free number) on your Caller ID. Pranks usually know to block their number from your Caller ID (which also keeps you from *69, or calling them back).
Check with your phone company and see if you can the Call block feature which will block ‘private’ or ‘unlisted’ numbers. This will keep them from calling you in this manner. Once you break their habit, they may quit the joking…
