Buy a interntonal calling card or buy viop(voice over internet protocol)
Is Voip (voice Over Internet Protocol) Phone-service Just As Good As Service From Your Local Phone Company?
Will be making the switch soon, and thought I’d ask to see if others have had either good or bad experiences w/it..

- You will still need a landline if it is for home.VOIP is additional but limited in some ways, but quality is very goog.
- I use VoIP for the past 5 years and love it!! you can’t beat the price…!
before you do anything…go to Comfi and do some research. If you already have a provider in mind check them out, having a good stable Internet is a key component!
I use Packet8 for over 5 years now and I’m very happy! I use a VoIP Panasonic DECT 6.0 phone…..with build-in router/firewall and 6 extensions, one of them a blue-tooth flip-phone!
I also use the comfi for the past year…….so far….so good!
bear in mind….if you sign up with any VoIP provider and port over your number, you will not get back your old number if you cancel the service……and most cancellation frees really stick….like 69 + dollars…!
its a law now to port your number for cell and land-line providers, but not for VoIP!! some do and some don’t….!
you have to go on-line and fill out on on-line application to get E911 which is 1.99 a month now…but with the speedypi its free, and it work too…..I’ve tried it out several times! - not even close.

internet bottlenecks cause dropped calls - The VoIP phones can be as good as the normal phone. It really depends on your provider.

If you don’t need 911 or you don’t care if theres a power failure or internet interruption then go ahead. Otherwise keep your landline and just use VoIP for long distance. Thats what I did because my long distance cost is getting higher so nowI use Onesuite voip for all my long distance calls and still use my landline for local calls.

You can enter the telephone number that came up on your caller ID and find out who’s calling, leave a comment about the call you received even! Everycall.us can help put a stop to telemarketers and why wouldn’t we want this? They are great! Really…try them! Who actually likes telemarketers? Every call can stop them! Let me tell you…you have to use them…It’s the best decision you can make! Try them out! You’ve never tried anything like it…in a good way! If you get an annoying phone call you can always find out who’s calling with everycall! You will always want to know who is calling your house! If it weren’t good, I wouldn’t waste my time telling you about it. We’ve all been through it…prank calls, telemarketers…we just wanna track em’ down! Now you can! Trust me!
