As American travelers to Brazil we sometimes get access to phones that can only dial toll-free numbers… is there a calling card we can use to call back to the US? Thanks

I use the MCI phone card to call the USA whenever I’m away. It’s from MCI so I know their phone cards will work and the lines are clear. They have toll free access as well.
There is only a .50cent pay phone surcharge with absolutely no fees. Avoid phone cards with weird fees like connection and taxes, I’ve been burned way too many times.

If you call from your cell phone you will use your allowed minutes (plan minutes), and then pay the rate advertised where you purchased the phone card. You can search Yahoo for (phone cards), and select from good companies. I use two that I have been satisfied.

no, I do the same thing….I got Voip, but still use a calling card…its still cheaper then Voip…it will not count towards you minutes…..
