Will I Get Charged On My Cellphone By Using A Long Distance Phone Card?
I have a t-mobile plan and I want to call someoen in mexico city. I have a prepaid card. I’m in houston and the number on teh card for me to call was a local number. I called and when i got my bill… I was charged. Not for long distance but for the local call. The card also has an 800 number for me to call. If I use teh 1800 number will I still be charged? I know the minutes would count but I don’t want to call if I get charged.
Unfortanatly, you will get charged your minutes but not long distance.

You shouldn’t be charged for dialing the number…I mean, you should have free long distance on your cell, but you are using a 1-800 number and those are toll free anyway. i can understand you being hit for the minutes, but you shouldn’t be hit for calling 1-800 number.
