I am going to the middle of US for 2 weeks. I did some research and the area is roaming through my cell phone. Looking at the hotel online, it says that local calls are free for up to 30 minutes. Would a calling card constitute the same type of thing? As it would be like a 1-800 number?
If the number is a 1-800 number you usually just dial 9 then the number & there is NO charge for this.
Shouldn’t have to pay the hotel anything but then again they may have rules and charges that they want to charge anyway. When in doubt…ask before making the call.
