My boyfriend is in thailand, and has a sim card with prepaid minutes in his cell phone. I don’t have a land line to call with a phone card, just a cell phone. What’s the Best Phone Card To(cheap and more minutes) get for US cell phone to a Thai cell phone?Where to buy is the best?
Answer:
Here’s what you should do…..
Go get a international calling card call to Thailand. You can get one for $5 at a liquor store or an Asian supermarket or buy online, buy online maybe more cheap than other ways. You can call from your cell phone because it doesn’t matter if you’re on a landline or not. Just keep in mind that you should call during your free minutes time window to save yourself from overage in minute usage.
Make sure you get one WITHOUT a connection fee otherwise each time you make a call it will deduct from your minutes or value of the card. Use the local access numbers or 800 number provided for you on the card. Since long distance is free on your cell phone then ALL the numbers on the card is considered local.
The calling cards work great and they’re a better deal than to apply an international calling plan on your cellphone account. I use these calling cards weekly for business and personal usage.
I wish you well.
